Karen Parkhill | HP
Karen Parkhill will join tech giant HP as its new finance chief on August 5. Parkhill joins the company from healthcare technology company Medtronic, where she has been chief financial officer since 2016. Parkhill started her finance career in the investment banking industry at JP Morgan, where she worked for 19 years, and ultimately became chief financial officer for commercial banking. Parkhill later joined financial services company Comerica Incorporated, where she was CFO for five years. Parkhill succeeds interim CFO Tim Brown, who will return to his role as the head of Print Finance.
Anaïs Lempereur | Hallmark Media
In August, Anaïs Lempereur will take over as finance chief of Hallmark Media, which operates cable networks Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Mystery and Hallmark Family and subscription streaming service Hallmark Movies Now. Lempereur joins the company from Paramount Global’s Pluto TV, where she was CFO. Earlier roles include vice president of finance for fast-casual salad restaurant chain Sweetgreen and global director of financial planning and analysis at music streaming platform Spotify.
Marcos Gabriel | McCormick
Spices, seasonings and condiments maker McCormick promoted Marcos Gabriel, its senior vice president of global finance and capital markets, to CFO, effective December 1. Gabriel joined McCormick in 2017 as CFO, Americas and has also held the role of chief transformation officer. Before McCormick, he held a variety of leadership roles at Avon, Unilever and Eli Lilly across Europe, North and Latin America. Gabriel succeeds Mike Smith, who has been CFO since 2016. Smith will continue working at the company as executive vice president until his retirement on February 28, 2025.

Private jet operator flyExclusive promoted Matt Lesmeister to CFO. Lesmeister joined the company on May 30, 2024, as executive vice president and chief of staff. He has 14 years of public company experience across various finance roles, most recently at Fox Factory Holding as vice president of transformation and strategy. Before joining Fox Factory in 2016, Lesmeister held several roles of increasing responsibility at aerospace and defense technology conglomerate United Technologies. Lesmeister replaces outgoing interim CFO Bill Barnard.
Nate Olmstead | SGH
Nate Olmstead was hired as CFO of SGH, a manufacturer of memory for desktops, notebooks, servers and mobile memory for smartphones. Olmstead most recently was CFO of technology company Logitech. He also previously held a broad range of financial leadership roles during his 16 years at Hewlett Packard and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, including vice president of finance for global operations at Hewlett Packard Enterprise; vice president of finance of EG global supply chain and quality; vice president of finance of HP storage and HP converged systems; and director of HP investor relations.
Lauri Kearnes | Byrna Technologies
Byrna Technologies, a non-lethal defense technology company, named Lauri Kearnes as its new finance chief, effective July 15. For the last 20 years, Kearnes has worked at global customer experience strategy company Harte Hanks, and for the previous four years, she has been CFO. She held several leadership roles while at Harte Hanks, including corporate controller, group vice president of finance and vice president of finance. Earlier in her career, she worked at Brooks Automation, where she managed financial operations, and at Nutraceutical as an accounting manager.
Kathleen Valiasek | Local Bounti
Indoor agriculture company Local Bounti’s CFO, Kathleen Valiasek, will take on the additional role of president. Valiasek’s new responsibilities as president, include expanded operations oversight, innovation and commercial and marketing activities. Valiasek has been CFO since she joined the company in 2021 from synthetic biology company Amyris where she was CFO for two years before taking over as chief business officer. Before that, she was chief executive officer of Lenox Group, a finance and strategic consulting firm she founded.
Todd Link | Vantage
Todd Link was appointed chief financial officer of insurance and reinsurance partner Vantage. Link has worked in the insurance and financial industries for the last 30 years, most recently as CFO and chief operating officer at Beacon Capital Partners, a private real estate investment firm. He previously worked at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance, where he was global CFO and chief operating officer, and at Lexington Insurance as finance chief.
