Job Description

Overall credit management of the Bank’s various loan portfolios including maintaining loan quality, formulation of credit policy and procedures, management reporting, and the development and promotion of the Bank’s credit culture.  Manage the Bank’s Credit Administration function with primary responsibility for: (1) Credit Administration and Reporting - Monitoring and reporting to management and the Board regarding loan portfolios, to include credit quality, payment delinquency, loan loss reserve adequacy and related areas.  (2) Maintain methodology for maintenance of Allowance for Loan and Lease Losses.  (3) Loan Review - Review of the Bank’s loan portfolios in order to monitor credit quality, portfolio administration, adherence to policy and regulations, and ultimately risk of loss.  (4) Real Estate Appraisals and environmental site assessments  -  maintain independence of the Bank’s commercial real estate appraisal and environmental program.


 


 


Qualifications:


 


8-10+ yrs. exp. in commercial credit, loan review and/or commercial lending, with formal credit training. 4 yr. degree in Finance / Accounting, MBA preferred. Strong credit analysis and credit administration skills including the ability to analyze credit worthiness of individual, commercial and consumer borrowers and complete portfolios.  Knowledge of regulations relating to the lending and collection processes, strong knowledge of FDIC regulations.
