Job Description
World renown provider of business information and intelligence is looking to enhance their Tax group with the addition of a Director, Tax Reporting.
Responsibilities: Director, Tax Reporting
- Review and prepare all aspects of tax provision (Fas 109/FIN 48)
- Communicate effectively with many stakeholders, advisors, and vendors
- Maintain and update year-end and quarterly reporting schedules
- Provide innovative solutions to give efficiencies in reporting
- Effective state tax rate planning for current year, budgets and forecasts.
- Manage quarterly and year-end tax-reporting exercise, ensuring deadlines are met and expectations fully communicated to all stakeholders.
- Review and ensure adequate SOX controls are in place
- Liaise with internal and external personnel for SOX-control audit purposes
- Act as a tax-accounting expert for the US tax group and the regional service centers under GAAP and IFFRS
- Assist on planning and implementing Taxstream software
- Work with the US Tax Group to ensure they fulfill their responsibilities relating to tax reporting
- Liaise with Finance and others in the tax group
- Provide analysis of tax provisions and footnotes for Financial Statements

Qualifications:
- 5+ to 7 years combination of public accounting and industry experience preparing a tax provision
- BA in Accounting
-CPA/MST/JD a plus
- Sufficient knowledge to be a key member of the Taxstream implementation team
- Good communication and project management skills
