Our client is a $25M design and construction business looking for a hands on, soup-to-nuts Controller with a contractor/construction background. Job description :
The Controller will be responsible for the day to day accounting and manage the financials of a $25 Million business. The Controller will report to the CEO, and must have architecture, contractor, or construction experience. This person will be a hands on detailed individual.Key responsibilities include: Oversee an Accounting staff of 2 and union employees Negotiate contracts Manage the monthly close and reporting process Manage day to day accounting operations Handle the business planning and budgets with the president of the company. Who we are looking for :
The ideal candidate for the Controller positions will possess the following characteristics:- Must have construction/Contractor background - Experience with negotiating Contracts- CPA Ideal but experience more relevant- Must be a soup-to-nuts Accountant- Small company background with hands on experience Whats on offer :
Base salary of $100,000 - $120,000
